Matomo collects information about website usage exclusively in anonymized form. This includes:

The IP address is truncated by the last two octets before storage (masking) and can therefore no longer be traced back to any individual. Analysis only takes place after explicit consent is given via the cookie consent banner (category "Statistics"). Before consent is granted, the Matomo tracking code is not loaded and no data is transmitted to the analytics server. Newsletter

To receive the newsletter, an email address is required. Registration is carried out using the double opt-in procedure: after entering the address, a confirmation email is sent containing a link that must be clicked. As proof of consent, the time of registration and confirmation, as well as the IP address used, are stored. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The newsletter can be unsubscribed from at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, after which the data will be deleted. Registrations that are not confirmed within 7 days are automatically deleted. The service provider MailerSend is used for delivery, with whom a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded.
