Privacy notice for advertising bookings

When you book advertising space on vivereinitalien.de, we process data about your company. This page explains what we collect, why we need it and how long we keep it.

Controller

The controller is Bastian Glumm, Vivere in Italien, Frankenstr. 86, 42653 Solingen, Germany, bastian.glumm@vivereinitalien.de.

What we collect and why

To process a booking we collect your company name, billing address and email address; optionally a contact person, phone number, website and VAT ID. To document your consent we also record the time, the applicable version of the terms, your IP address and your browser identifier. We use this data solely to handle the booking: contract, payment, banner approval, invoicing and the related correspondence. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract), for invoicing and record-keeping Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation), and for evidencing your consent Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Who else receives the data

For payment we transmit the necessary details to our payment service provider Mollie B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands. Accounting records are shared with our tax adviser. The website runs on servers in Germany. No transfer to countries outside the European Union takes place.

How long we keep the data

Invoices and accounting records are kept for eight years (§ 14b UStG, § 147 AO under German law), other commercially and fiscally relevant documents for up to ten years. Anything not subject to a retention obligation is deleted once the booking has been completed and no claims remain open.

Whether you have to provide the data

We need your company name, billing address and email address in order to conclude the contract and issue a proper invoice. Without them we cannot accept the booking. Phone number, website and VAT ID are optional.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email to bastian.glumm@vivereinitalien.de is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
