Dear Italy enthusiasts,

summer vacation season is approaching. And honestly: travel preparations and the journey itself are often accompanied by stress. So it's worth taking a breath and clearing one's thoughts beforehand. Today, our guest author Dr. Christoph Glumm once again invites readers to take a brief breathing pause a little under a minute to look inward, gather strength, and come back feeling refreshed. Feel free to check out his video. We wish all our readers a wonderful summer vacation. Perhaps even in Italy!

"I have never really lived."

Says my patient.

Nearly sixty. Successful. Healthy.
And yet this is his conclusion.

"I have always just functioned." He continues.

"I thought life would come later."

To say it upfront: that "later" never comes!

That "just one more thing first … and then" is a lie one tells oneself. And while waiting, life passes by.

Stop doing that.
Not tomorrow. Not someday.

Now.
