At Lake Garda, the network Lago di Garda Camping is entering the 2026 season with new member properties, international awards, and significant investments. The association now brings together 20 campgrounds around Italy's largest lake. Combined, the sites offer more than 29,500 beds and record over 2.5 million overnight stays per season. Between March and November, the campgrounds blend nature experiences, comfort, and a wide range of leisure activities. Both on land and on the water. With a growing network and new offerings, Lago di Garda Camping reinforces its role as a major association of camping facilities in one of Italy's most popular vacation regions.
International awards for multiple campgrounds
Several member properties have again earned international recognition in 2026. According to PiNCAMP and ADAC, five sites within the network rank among the 25 best campgrounds in Italy. These include Camping Village Europa Silvella, the Camping Village La Rocca, Camping Village San Francesco, Fornella Camping & Wellness Resort, and Campeggio Fossalta. Camping Village Europa Silvella received particular attention. At the PiNCAMP Gala Award, the property was honored with the "ANWB Best Family Camping Europe" distinction. In addition, the campground received another award for its exceptionally high quality in guest servicesat the Best Camping Village Awards in Riva del Garda.

Camping Village La Rocca also raised its international profile. At the same awards ceremony, the property was recognized as the best glamping destination in Italy. This reflects the growing trend toward comfortable, high-quality outdoor accommodations that is increasingly shaping the camping vacation experience at Lake Garda.
Three new members expand the network
For the 2026 season, the network is also growing with three new camping properties. With these additions, Lago di Garda Camping broadens its tourism offering and strengthens its presence around Lake Garda. The Camping Eden in San Felice del Benaco is situated at an elevated panoramic position above the Gulf of Salò. The property combines a nature experience with modern infrastructure and offers direct access to a private beach. Generous pool areas with a splash park, along with sports activities such as tennis, yoga, and stand-up paddling, are especially well suited for families and active travelers.
Lake Garda: Villenpark Sanghen joins the camping network
Also new to the network is Villenpark Sanghen in Manerba del Garda. Located directly on the southwestern shore of Lake Garda, the property combines spacious apartments and premium glamping accommodations with a classic camping atmosphere. Three pools, various sports facilities, and expansive green spaces create a family-friendly environment with direct access to the lakeshore.

The addition of Iris Park Camping in Moniga del Garda brings another year-round location to the network. The campground features shaded pitches, modern glamping tents, and vacation homes in a peaceful setting. Two pools, sports facilities, and an entertainment program round out the offering. Proximity to the "International Kartindoor Moniga" karting track also provides an additional leisure option that is particularly appealing to teenagers and young adults.
Lake Garda: investments in comfort and infrastructure
Alongside the network expansion, several member properties are also investing in upgrading their infrastructure. At Eurocamping in Pacengo di Lazise , 2026 is centered on extensive modernization. New VIP pitches of approximately 1,075 square feet now offer direct fresh- and wastewater connections as well as improved power supply. In addition, a new central service area is being created, featuring private bathrooms, accessible facilities, children's areas, a laundry room, and a fitness room with a view of the lake. With a newly designed dog park featuring agility elements, Eurocamping is also responding to growing demand from guests traveling with their pets. Last year, the campground's waterfront area was already renovated and the power capacity of the pitches directly on the lake was significantly increased.

Investment is also continuing at Campeggio Fossalta in Lazise . A new reception area and a modern sanitary facility with private bathrooms are being added to further enhance guest comfort. The Fornella Camping & Wellness Family Resort is also expanding its leisure offerings. Two new water slides are set to appeal to different age groups and further strengthen the property's family-oriented character.
