Leonardo Hotels is strengthening its presence in Italy: with the acquisition of the former Hotel dei Borgia, now operating under the name Leonardo Boutique Rome Monti the hotel group's Italian portfolio now comprises a total of nine properties.

In addition to this latest acquisition, the portfolio includes a property recently opened by a sister company under the Master Collection brand, as well as the NYX Hotel Rome by Leonardo Hotels, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations. The reopening of the NYX Hotel is planned for summer 2025. The Boutique Rome Monti is centrally located in the Monti district, one of Rome's oldest and most charming neighborhoods, in close proximity to the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali.
