One Year Vivere in Italien is behind us. We launched the website just before Christmas 2024. A year full of building, stories, research, countless trips, personal experiences and many new topics. Step by step, we have found our footing with this site, learned, experimented, discarded ideas, and kept going. And most importantly: we are now reaching more and more people who are passionate about Italy, who dream of living there, or who may want to take that path themselves.

The fact that our articles are increasingly being read, that some topics only gain traction weeks later while others are simply meant as a service to readers, all of that is part of this journey. Vivere in Italien is not meant to be a purely advice portal but a place for Italy in all its facets: everyday life, travel, culture, living, challenges, moments of joy, and personal experiences.
Our Move to Italy in 2026
2026 will be a special year for us. We want to continue growing, set new priorities, and take the big leap ourselves in the coming fall: Our move to Pozzuoli. What that means for us, what stories will emerge from it, and what new perspectives will open up, we will share here, honestly, personally, and from firsthand experience.
