From 14 to 16 October, Rimini once again becomes the centre of Italian tourism. The 63rd edition of the TTG Travel Experience brings together tourism authorities, hoteliers, tour operators and technology providers from across Italy and from 70 international destinations at the Quartiere Fieristico. The overarching theme of this year's fair is EXIST. Vivere in Italien will be there in person.
The Italia section at the heart of the fair: six halls, all regions
The focal point of the fair is the Italiasection, spread across halls A1, A2, A3, C1, C2 and C3. Here, regional tourism authorities present their attractions, hotels, destination management organisations and tour operators. The offering ranges from the classic art cities and coastal regions to the small villages (borghi) and pilgrimage and hiking routes (cammini). The regions represented will use the three fair days to prime buyers, tour operators and the trade press for the 2027 season.
One concrete example is Umbria in Pad. C3, Stand 234-406. The region will host tastings and conversations across all three days, centred on olive oil, wine, craft beer, chocolate, truffle and other agricultural products, accompanied by chefs Andrea Impero from the Borgobrufa Spa Resort and Ada Stifani from Perugia.
45 start-ups and the TTG Next format
Also part of the Italia section is TTG Next Startup. Here, 45 young companies present technologies and business models intended to transform the Italian tourism market. In pitches and talks, the founders introduce their products. Buyers and investors can engage directly in conversation on the spot.
The format is emblematic of the direction that the organiser Italian Exhibition Group is giving the fair: Italy as a product, embedded within the international Travel Market, with concrete business insights. At the 2025 edition, artificial intelligence, luxury tourism and sustainable travel were the defining themes.
The World and Global Village: looking beyond the Boot
Alongside Italy, international destinations also feature on the programme in Rimini. The The World section, spread across halls A6, A7, C6 and C7, brings together 70 international destinations, with tourism boards, airlines, hotel chains and foreign destination management companies. Hall C6 is home to the African Village, where operators from sub-Saharan Africa present their offerings.
In the Global Village section (halls A4, A5, A6, C4 and C5), tour operators, cruise lines, car hire companies, transport providers and insurerscome together.
