Award 2027

Terms of participation

1. Organiser

   The organiser of the Vivere in Italien Award 2027 is Vivere in Italien. The address and contact details are in the legal notice.

2. Who can take part

   Businesses in Italy that offer accommodation can take part. The award is presented in three categories: “Hotel of the Year”, “Agriturismo of the Year” and “Holiday Home of the Year”.

3. Nomination

   Businesses can register themselves, readers can nominate businesses, and the editorial team can nominate businesses. Every entry is confirmed by email. The editorial team checks every entry before it goes forward to the vote. There is no entitlement to be included.

4. Free of charge

   Taking part, nominating and voting are free. No purchase is necessary, and a purchase does not improve the chances.

5. Exclusion

   The editorial team may exclude businesses from taking part, in particular if the requirements are not met, if information is false, if a business tries to influence the vote, or if a business breaks the law. Votes obtained by unfair means do not count.

6. Name and photos

   By taking part, businesses allow us to show the name of the business, its location and publicly available photos of the business on the nominee’s page and in articles about the award. Businesses can provide their own photos instead.

7. Results

   The results are decided by the reader vote and the jury, following the published methodology.

8. Data protection

   We process the details from the forms for the award only. We use readers’ email addresses only for confirmation. We send information about the award by email only with consent. Details are in the privacy policy.

9. Withdrawal

   A business can end its participation at any time. An email to redaktion@vivereinitalien.de is enough. Consent to emails about the award can be withdrawn in the same way.

10. Changes

    We may change these terms if this is necessary to run the award. The version in force is always the one on this page.
